Job Description
Pennington Law is seeking a KYC Assistant to join their Basingstoke office. The role involves reviewing and screening new clients, obtaining KYC materials, and assisting with risk management, including anti-money laundering. The position is a 12-month FTC. Diversity, Equity and Inclusion is a priority within the company.
Requirements
- Process and review new/amended clients and matters.
- Obtain and review KYC materials.
- Screen client and matter parties for PEP status.
- Deactivate matters as risk factors are not adequately mitigated.
- Liaise with fee-earning and support staff.
- Assist with KYC and general risk records.
- Assist with the Best Practice Enquiry ‘Triage’ process.
- Assist with the Best Practice team.
- Maintain KYC and general risk records.
- Assist with training and self-development.
