Job Description
Peraton is seeking a Controls Design Engineer to join their team in Monrovia, California. The role supports the Deep Space Network (DSN) program for NASA's Deep Space Communications Complexes, with a focus on developing solutions for control equipment and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards. The engineer will contribute to the infrastructure, maintenance, and improvement of the facilities supporting the communications infrastructure.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience with a BS/BA
- 0+ years with a MS/MA (Bachelor’s degree required)
- US Citizenship required with a background check.
- Demonstrated experience with at least one programming language (Assembly, C, C++, Python, etc.)
- Experience with linear electrical/electronic components, electro-mechanical components, and communication protocols.
- Basic understanding of building management systems (BMS) and computer networking.
- Valid California driver’s license (Real ID).
