Job Description
We’re hiring! We’re excited to add an onsite Network Engineer to our team of high performers. This position includes an on-call rotation. We are responsible for monitoring and maintaining a production environment which includes routers, switches, load balancers, remote VPN, proxies, DNS, DHCP, NTP and IPAM.
Requirements
- 5 years with a bachelors degree or 9 years of experience and high school diploma
- 5 years of experience supporting enterprise network environment
- Installing, cabling and configuration of network equipment
- Knowledge of routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, MP-BGP, IS-IS)
- Knowledge of MPLS, Layer2 VPN, Layer3 VPN
- Security Practices (Audits, planning, design, implementation, testing, and management)
- LAN/WAN/MAN internetworking technology
- Policy and Procedure review and implementation
- Networking and Application Protocols
- Network monitoring via SNMP, NetFlow
- Experience with the installation, configuration, integration and management of routers, switches, load balancers, proxies, etc.
- Must have knowledge and skills in the fundamentals of IP and core IP technologies.
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Excellent technical writing and documentation skills
- Must be US Citizen
- Must be able to obtain and maintain the required agency clearance
Benefits
- Target Salary Range: $80,000 - $128,000
