Persistent Systems is seeking a Director of Business Development, UxS who will be responsible for strategically growing business by identifying and establishing new customer relationships, as well as maintaining our existing ones, in the industry and government space.
Requirements
- Identifying potential new customers
- Managing and developing existing customer relationships and government program offices
- Developing sales strategies and unique selling propositions to meet sales targets
- Collaborating with Sales and Engineering to identify development opportunities
- Developing and retaining existing customer relationships by presenting solutions to meet customer needs, ensuring customer satisfaction
- Managing key accounts after the initial integration and sale
- Creating business proposals, handling initial negotiations, and closing business deals as part of a team
- Identifying industry and marketing events and trade shows that will provide opportunities to expand the company's customer base
- Organizing and traveling to customer sites and trade shows to identify new business opportunities and strengthen current customer relationships
- Conducting presentations for large groups of internal and external stakeholders
- Adhering to established sales-administrative processes that allow for the transparent flow of communication between sales and internal operations teams
