Part Time Accounts Payable Specialist

Requirements

• Reconciling and posting all inventory related invoices and credits
• Allocating purchase orders and inbound discrepancies to appropriate general ledger accounts
• Preparing vouchers according to data received from the Inventory Control Department
• Preparing and processing payments via check, ACH, wire transfer, or online portals
• Reconciling vendor statements maintaining current records at all times
• Backing up support for any freight and invoice requests
• Updating and maintaining the vendor database
• Communicating with vendors as needed
• Filing and scanning
• Assisting in streamlining processes and contributing to automation and efficiency improvements
• Data entry
• Other projects as required by the A/P Manager
