Job Description
Partners In Health (PIH) is seeking a Surgical Community Health Officer to work in a Maternal Centre of Excellence in Koidu, Sierra Leone. The role involves providing clinical care, managing patient outcomes, and training healthcare professionals. PIH supports long-term health system strengthening in Sierra Leone, with a focus on community outreach and the expansion of medical services within the Ministry of Health and Sanitation.
Requirements
- Provide surgical clinical care for patients.
- Carry out daily rounds on different surgical wards.
- Perform on call duties.
- Work in collaboration with the infection prevention control protocols.
- Ensure surgical database maintenance.
