Engineer 5

This is the fifth level of a Civil Engineering position. The engineer will provide engineering/technical expertise, provide leadership in a specific area, and provide in-depth technical guidance. Candidates should have advanced skills, work independently, and be recognized industry experts. This role requires extensive independent work and offers latitude for un-reviewed tasks.

Requirements

• Minimum 12 years’ experience as a practicing engineer
• State registration as a Professional Engineer
• Expert in engineering theories and principles
• Expert in research, evaluation, and recommendations
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Demonstrated leadership within the utility industry
• Ability to deal with various backgrounds
