Job Description
Pinterest is seeking a PhD Machine Learning Intern to contribute to the development of personalized experiences for its users. The intern will work on a range of machine learning projects, data-driven model building, and code writing. The role offers hands-on access to a vast data vault and opportunities to collaborate with both internal teams and external experts. Internships are 12-week paid positions, with a mix of remote and hybrid options.
Requirements
- Working towards a PhD in Computer Science, ML, NLP, Statistics, Information Sciences or related field
- Proficiency in at least one systems language (Java, C++, Python) or one ML framework (Tensorflow, Pytorch, MLFlow)
- Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop/Spark) and scalable realtime systems
- Strong communicator and team player with the ability to find solutions for open-ended problems.
