Job Description
Pinterest is seeking a PhD University Graduate to join their Machine Learning Engineering teams. This role involves researching and applying machine learning and artificial intelligence to solve problems related to recommendation systems, search, ads, ranking, and NLP across various platforms. The ideal candidate will contribute to cutting-edge research and collaborate within a fast-growing company.
Requirements
- PhD in Computer Science, ML, NLP, Statistics, Information Sciences or related field
- Machine Learning experience (ranking, computer vision, NLP, content recommendations, embedding, information retrieval)
- Proficiency in at least one systems language (Java, C++, Python) or one ML framework (Tensorflow, Pytorch, MLFlow)
- Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop/Spark) and scalable realtime systems
- Strong communication and team player skills
