Job Description
This CAD Technician position involves producing proposals and manufacturing drawings for light gauge steel frames, panels, pods, and structural/non-structural elements. The role requires collaboration with a design team and a focus on compliance with building regulations and accessibility standards. Training in CAD and BIM is provided.
Requirements
- Qualification in Architecture, Building surveying; Construction or Engineering
- Strong knowledge of building regulations and BCAR process
- High level of design and communication skills
- Understanding of accessibility and universal design
- Practical experience in CAD (AutoCAD, Revit) and BIM
- Knowledge of design packages like Autocad and Revit
