Job Description
This Warehouse Manager role focuses on day-to-day operations within an inbound or outbound distribution center. The position involves staffing, training, scheduling, managing productivity, maintaining a safe work environment, and ensuring customer satisfaction by providing same-day shipment of orders. A key aspect is utilizing Warehouse Management Systems and process improvement methodologies.
Requirements
- Strong Warehouse knowledge and business acumen
- 2-4 years focus in Distribution Centre operations (Store, Direct to Consumer, Business to Business)
- 2-4 years functional knowledge and experience in conducting metric driven analysis and accountability
- Experience using and implementing Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Demonstrated competence in the use of Microsoft Operating Systems
- Understanding Process Improvement/Six Sigma processes (a plus)
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Proactive identification of challenges and solutions
- Bachelor Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Accounting, Finance or Economics preferred
