Job Description
Playtech is seeking a Database Administrator to work with the company’s global database platform daily operations, plan and execute all aspects of database administration, and participate in an on-call rotation to support database-related production incidents.
Requirements
- Solid hands-on experience with MySQL database administration.
- Good understanding of general IT concepts, especially networks and Linux/Unix operating systems.
- Collaborative team player who is open to new ideas and modern approaches.
- Enjoy solving technical problems and can handle moderately complex challenges.
- Proactive approach to resolving issues.
- Basic to intermediate scripting experience (Python, Bash, or similar) to support automation and tooling.
- Knowledge or hands-on experience with Oracle or PostgreSQL.
