Job Description
Playtech is looking for a Senior Database Administrator to work with the company’s global database platform daily operations, plan and execute all aspects of database administration to achieve maximum stability and availability, and participate in an on-call rotation to support database-related production incidents.
Requirements
- Expert-level knowledge in Oracle, PostgreSQL and Maria DB database administration.
- Knowledge and know-how of the IT field in general, specifically about network and operating systems (Linux/Unix).
- Strong scripting ability (Python, Bash, or similar) to support tooling and automation workflows.
- Experience running databases on Kubernetes using MariaDB or PostgreSQL operators (desired).
- Hands-on experience with AWS database services (desired)
