2026-2027 Full-time Tenure Track/Professional Track Faculty - School of Nursing

Point Loma Nazarene University is seeking a nurse educator to join the full-time faculty in the School of Nursing. The successful candidate will teach a wide variety of courses across nursing programs, including pre-licensure undergraduate and post-licensure graduate programs. They will also engage in personal scholarship, advise students, and participate in departmental activities and governance.

Requirements

• Current, CA Registered Nurse
• Current, National Clinical Nurse Specialist or Nurse Practitioner (if teaching in a CNS or FNP specialty graduate track)
• A graduate degree (MSN, DNP or PhD) or enrollment in an accredited nursing graduate program
• Evidence of a commitment to excellence in teaching
• Demonstrated effectiveness in teaching people from diverse backgrounds
• Thorough commitment to the concept of a Christian liberal arts education
• Supportive of the religious and educational goals of the university and its sponsoring denomination
• Evidence of Christian commitment and active church involvement
