Job Description
Point is seeking a Manager of Underwriting to oversee all aspects of investment underwriting, focusing on maximizing performance and revenue goals. The role involves team leadership, operational execution, process enablement, and customer engagement within a collaborative, people-first culture. It is a hybrid position with at least one day a week in the Manila office.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience managing an underwriting operations team
- 3–5 years of experience in underwriting work
- In-depth knowledge of mortgage/HEI regulatory requirements
- Familiarity with investor guidelines and risk management principles
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills
- Demonstrated expertise in credit, income, and collateral analysis
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams
- Strong organizational skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with G-Suite/Microsoft Office
