Job Description
The Service Worker III - Herbicide Spray Technician will operate computerized herbicide spray systems, light and/or medium vehicles, and other spray application equipment to control industrial and right-of-way vegetation. The role will also act as a lead worker for spray application operations and perform various administrative tasks.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited high school or possess an acceptable equivalency diploma
- Minimum of two (2) years herbicide spray equipment operation/application or related experience
- Current Core and Right-of-Way Public Applicator's Restricted Pesticide License, as issued by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection
- Valid driver's license and ability to secure a valid Florida Commercial Class ‘A’ driver's license with Tanker, Air Brakes, Combination/Endorsement
- Ability to lift and/or move a minimum of 50 pounds
