Job Description
Positive Impact Health Centers is a growing company seeking a Behavioral Health Office Associate to serve patients, schedule appointments, maintain records, and provide a welcoming environment. The role requires experience in medical or behavior health front office environments and basic medical billing knowledge.
Requirements
- Answer multiple phone lines in a professional and courteous manner
- Check in patients and complete patient registration
- Manage patient flow by providing timely check-in procedures upon arrival
- Maintain accuracy of patient demographic and insurance information
- Perform medical coding and billing tasks for non-insurance claims
- Contact patient on a monthly basis regarding past due balance
- Sort and distribute incoming mail
