Senior Cloud Engineer (Montreal, Quebec)

Power Factors is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to join its Cloud Engineering & Operations team. The successful candidate will ensure the cloud infrastructure is running properly, efficiently, and securely, working with AWS, GCP, and Azure. The role involves collaborating with other teams, evaluating new technology, and mentoring junior team members.

Requirements

• Collaborate with other teams for cross-functional projects in the cloud
• Evaluate new technology and champion for improvements to existing tools and processes
• Work with junior members of the team to mentor and teach
• Optimized Cost Management - Implement automated approach balancing cost vs performance
• Cloud Governance / Security standards - ensuring compliance across cloud environments
• Monitoring / Observability stack – Working thru Design and upgrades to ensure platform stability and resiliency.
• Continuous Learning and Innovation – Stay informed about latest trends and technology
• Collaborating with stakeholders, such as developers, engineers, managers, and customers, to ensure the cloud services are delivered effectively and efficiently.
