The Risk and Internal Audit Director ensures that the function is closely aligned with industry best practices in executing the duties across the Group’s operations.
Requirements
- Develop the department strategy in line with the Company strategy
- Oversee the development and implementation of policies, procedures and controls
- Attend Audit Committee, Board and EXCOM meetings as required
- Provide assurance to the Board of Directors and the Audit Committee
- Establish risk-based plans to determine the priorities of the internal audit activity
- Organize, plan, and implement audit assignments
- Review assignment plans and working papers and reports
- Discuss the findings with management and issue the final reports
- Perform investigations based on internal, external or whistleblowing requests
- Monitor compliance with company policies, procedures and relevant objectives
- Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures
- Manage compliance reporting
- Lead the investigation of all compliance issues
- Collaborate closely with other departments within the organization
- Oversee and manage all credit card and cash reimbursement reviews and approvals
