Job Description
Power Integrations is looking for a Senior Field Application Engineer to join their North American Sales team based in the Western US region. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, excellent communication skills, and a willingness to travel up to 40% within the region for on-site customer support.
Requirements
- BSEE or equivalent; MSEE or equivalent preferred
- 5+ years' experience in a sales engineering role
- AC-DC Power Conversion design experience
- Demonstrated magnetics design experience
- Experience in one of the following end markets: UPS, Solid State Lighting, Metering, Appliances, Cell Phone chargers, Industrial controls, Notebook or PC Power Supplies preferred
- Prior experience as an FAE for semiconductor products used in power conversion applications preferred
- Working knowledge of EMI and Safety standards
