Power Generation Equipment Field Technician (Commercial, Electrical Controls, Mechanical, Microgrid)

As a Power Generation Equipment Field Technician, you will be responsible for ongoing maintenance and repair of contracted and non-contracted generator and power distribution equipment. You will also provide technical support to customers on operational or maintenance aspects.

Requirements

• Level II Technician with 3 years of field experience servicing generator systems
• Experience with 500kw+ generator systems
• Proficient in preventative maintenance, retrofitting basic controls, minor ATS repairs, and loadbanking equipment
• High school diploma or GED equivalent, related military experience, or equivalent field experience
• Ability to read and decipher electronic schematics and troubleshoot discreet mechanical and electronic systems
• Experience with advanced generator and electric system controls, including Woodward, Beckwith, and PLC equipment
• Ability to read and interpret technical instructions, safety manuals, service manuals, and policies and procedures
