Software Engineer (Payments)

PracticeTek is a large healthcare technology company seeking a Software Engineer to build our unified payments service using a modern tech stack. The role offers the opportunity to work with a talented team and make a real impact on the healthcare industry.

Requirements

• 3+ years of software development experience, with solid programming skills in.NET/C#.
• Familiarity with front-end development (especially React) and understanding of how front-end applications interact with backend APIs.
• Experience or strong interest in integrating with payment systems or external APIs, and a good understanding of transactional workflows.
• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) for building and deploying services.
• Understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful API development; exposure to event-driven architecture concepts (using queues, pub/sub, etc.).
• Knowledge of secure coding practices and willingness to work within compliance frameworks like PCI DSS to protect sensitive data.
• Good problem-solving skills with attention to detail, especially for ensuring accuracy and reliability in financial transactions.
