Sr. Software Engineer (Payments)

PracticeTek is a large healthcare technology company that provides software solutions to healthcare clinics. The company is looking for a Sr. Software Engineer to build its enterprise-wide payments platform.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience
• Advanced proficiency in.NET/C# and a track record of building scalable backend systems
• Experience developing cloud-based applications on AWS and deploying/managing them with containers and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with integrating third-party APIs or services, ideally payment gateways or financial services, and handling asynchronous workflows reliably
• Strong understanding of microservice architecture principles, RESTful API design, and the use of message brokers or event buses in event-driven architecture
• Knowledge of software security best practices and compliance requirements
• Proven ability to debug and resolve complex issues in distributed systems
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills, experienced in agile development processes
