Diesel Mechanic II

Diesel Mechanic II performs advanced maintenance and repairs on airline and aircraft ground service equipment, including tugs, belt loaders, pushbacks, and trucks. Responsibilities include diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, inspecting and maintaining critical systems, and servicing equipment with fuel, oil, hydraulic fluid, water, and compressed air.

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older
• Eligible to work in the United States
• 3 years of verified experience required
• Must provide their own tools and toolbox
• Demonstrate regular, predictable attendance at job location
• Must have a valid state-issued driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking)
• Ability to access and interpret information in print and electronically
• Effectively communicate with colleagues and clients
• Pass a background check and drug screen
• Eligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances
