The Group Primero Amériques team is currently looking for a process engineer to join their talented team and be part of the growth and success of Primero. As a process engineer, you will be responsible for process calculations, mass balances, and developing process flow diagrams (PFDs) and piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs).

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in process engineering, chemical engineering, or metallurgical engineering
• Member (or candidate) of the P.Eng. with the OIQ or equivalent
• 4 to 8 years of experience in engineering, operation, and/or commissioning
• Experience in mineral processing, metal refining, or related industries
• Excellent analytical skills to solve complex problems
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams
• Good understanding of HSE principles and applicable codes
• Flexibility and resourcefulness to manage workload fluctuations
• Mastery of reading specifications, diagrams, and technical drawings
• Excellent communication skills
• Commitment to delivering high-quality work on time and providing support as needed
