Athletic Trainer

Professional Physical Therapy is seeking a Certified Athletic Trainer to provide services to student athletes, acting as a liaison between the athlete and a physical therapist. The role involves initial injury assessment, treatment, first aid, and reconditioning, while adhering to established best practices and state regulations. They aim to deliver top-notch care and support athlete wellness.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with major coursework in kinesiology/biomechanics, exercise physiology, infection control, professionalism and ethics, and athletic injuries.
• BOC certification required.
• Current state licensure.
• CPR and/or AED certification.
• Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
• Knowledge of athletic injuries and their prevention, treatment, and first aid.
