Sr. Named Account Manager

Proofpoint is seeking a self-starting sales professional to join our successful and growing Named Accounts organization. This team helps large enterprise organizations protect their most sensitive data. The Named Account Manager will team up with our world class Sales Engineering Organization and our channels team to introduce Proofpoint to new customers, as well as to expand our presence with companies who are already part of our existing customer base.

Requirements

• Establish strong business relationships at the executive level
• Advanced solution selling capabilities
• Conducting sales presentations
• Coordinating multiple resources within an account
• Closing business for Proofpoint
• Penetrating net new accounts and expanding existing customer base
• Partnering with the channel organization to secure new share of the security market
• Preparing account strategies and plans
• Delivering outstanding product demos and proof of concept programs
• Managing multiple tasks and using good judgment in resolving difficult issues
