Job Description
Protex AI is seeking a Lead Tooling Engineer to develop and evolve internal tools critical to engineering, support, implementation, and customer success. This role involves owning and improving the camera calibration app, QA tools, and site/user management systems to streamline processes and accelerate growth. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and a product-focused mindset.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and SQL
- Familiarity with cloud services and serverless architecture (e.g., AWS Lambda)
- Product mindset: enjoys talking to users and shipping solutions
- Self-direction: ability to identify problems, propose solutions, and execute independently
