Senior Data Analyst / Analytics Engineer

Public is looking for a Senior Data Analyst / Analytics Engineer to join its data team and help build a strong foundation for decision-making across the company. The role involves working across various product and business domains, building trusted data models, and turning data into actionable insights.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience in data roles such as Data Analyst, Analytics Engineer, or Data Scientist
• Experience at a high-growth consumer fintech / investing platform
• Expert SQL techniques for data transformation, querying, and optimization
• Familiarity with Python or another scripting language for data analysis and automation
• Strong understanding of modern data architecture (data lake/warehouse) and experience working with modern data stack tools
• Strong business acumen and the ability to translate complex data into clear recommendations
• A focus on impact and ability to ensure work through to changing the business and driving enterprise value
• Strong communicator who can collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
