Construction Manager

Public Storage is seeking a Construction Manager to lead the design, permitting, and construction of company facilities across the United States. The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years of experience in construction management and excellent negotiation and communication skills.

Requirements

• Provide site analysis and recommendations
• Lead due diligence activities
• Supervise design/engineering consultants
• Develop project budgets and cost estimates
• Develop schedules and maintain targeted completion dates
• Verify accuracy of General Contractor's monthly application for payment
• Monitor all inspections or corrections required by governing agencies
• Maintain public relations with neighbors, inspectors, GC's, subs' and trades persons
• Coordinate final acceptance, inspection, and scheduling of occupancy
• Review all warranties, O&M manuals, and completion of the final punch list required by the contract documents
