Public Storage is seeking a Construction Manager to lead the design, permitting, and construction of company facilities across the United States. The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years of experience in construction management and excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Requirements
- Provide site analysis and recommendations
- Lead due diligence activities
- Supervise design/engineering consultants
- Develop project budgets and cost estimates
- Develop schedules and maintain targeted completion dates
- Verify accuracy of General Contractor's monthly application for payment
- Monitor all inspections or corrections required by governing agencies
- Maintain public relations with neighbors, inspectors, GC's, subs' and trades persons
- Coordinate final acceptance, inspection, and scheduling of occupancy
- Review all warranties, O&M manuals, and completion of the final punch list required by the contract documents
