Senior QA Engineer (India)

PulsePoint is a leading technology company seeking a Senior QA Engineer to perform and enhance quality assurance efforts. The role involves manual and automated testing, defect management, and continuous process improvement in an Agile development environment.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience & strong knowledge of software testing methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and the SDLC/STLC.
• Proficiency in manual and automated testing techniques, including functional, performance, security, and integration testing.
• Proven experience with API testing tools such as Postman, SoapUI, Swagger, or similar.
• Strong understanding of RESTful and/or SOAP web services and API architectures.
• Experience with test management and bug tracking tools (like Jira).
• Familiarity with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright) and relevant programming/scripting languages (Python, JavaScript, Java).
• Knowledge of SQL for database validation.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail, and effective communication.
• Leadership abilities and the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
