Job Description
The IT Network Engineer will provide guidance and direction to vendor managed services, ensuring effective architecture, execution, and operation of network and telecommunications to support and secure business systems and processes. The role involves working with vendors, internal business partners, and IT teams to design, implement, and manage a secure, enterprise connectivity strategy that supports hybrid Cloud services. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a matrix organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- 5 years' experience supporting WAN, LAN, Wireless, Telecom, Voice and Video collaboration environments
- Experience with current network and security hardware, software, protocols, and Internet standards
- Experience designing, implementing, and managing a secure, enterprise connectivity strategy
- Advanced understanding of maintaining business continuity and high availability for IT services
