Job Description
Quandela is seeking a Support QPU Engineer to help deploy their 12-qubit photonic QPU, Lucy. This role involves monitoring, documentation, user enablement, reporting, and ensuring the reliability of the system. It's a day-to-day support function for a fully offline QPU, requiring interaction with researchers and specialists, and ensuring the systems perform correctly. The company delivers across the entire stack - from single-photon sources to simulation libraries and cloud access. The role is pivotal to ensuring reliable operation of Lucy, which will be instrumental in fueling next-generation quantum computing.
Requirements
- Operate and monitor QPU
- Perform daily health checks and run predefined tests.
- Develop Python/Linux scripts and dashboards for automated monitoring and reporting.
- Handle tickets and manage access to researchers.
- Interface with TGCC/HLST and ensure reporting standards.
