Director of Operations, Virginia

Taylor’s Construction, Inc. is seeking a strategic and hands-on Director of Operations to oversee all aspects of field and project operations for Virginia. This role involves leading crews, managing projects, ensuring compliance, and implementing new technologies to improve efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in telecommunications or utility construction and strong leadership skills.

Requirements

• 10+ years of leadership experience in telecommunications, fiber optic, or utility construction operations
• Proven ability to manage large teams across multiple concurrent projects
• Strong understanding of fiber splicing, aerial/underground utility placement, and pole setting operations
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Proficiency in scheduling software and field reporting platforms
• Willingness to travel to field sites as required
