Job Description
Taylor’s Construction, Inc. is seeking skilled Fiber Splicers to perform splicing, testing, and troubleshooting of fiber optic cables for telecommunications construction projects. This role emphasizes precision, technical expertise, and a commitment to safety and quality, working with teams to meet project deadlines and budgets. The company focuses on delivering high-speed fiber optic installations and reliable connections to customers.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in fiber optic splicing or telecommunications construction.
- Knowledge of OTDRs, fusion splicers, cleavers, and related tools.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and travel to multiple job sites.
- Understanding of single-mode and multi-mode fiber preferred.
