The Project Manager I – Drilling (Substations) supports the planning, coordination, and execution of drilling and foundation work within PAR Electric’s Substations Division. This entry-level project management role works under the direction of senior project managers and field leadership to ensure all drilling operations are completed safely, efficiently, and to client specifications.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent field experience)
- 1–3 years of project coordination, construction management, or field supervision experience; prior experience in drilling, foundations, or substation construction preferred
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills with a detail-oriented mindset
- Understanding of construction scheduling, cost tracking, and documentation processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera)
- Commitment to maintaining a strong safety culture and adherence to company and client safety expectations
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and adapt to fast-changing project environments
- A passion for learning and growing within the utility construction and substation industry
- Ability to communicate effectively and build trust with both field and office personnel
