We are seeking an experienced Substation Construction Manager to lead and oversee substation construction projects based in Englewood, Colorado. This role requires strong field presence, deep knowledge of substation construction practices, and the ability to coordinate crews, subcontractors, and stakeholders in a fast-paced utility construction environment.
Requirements
- Plan, manage, and oversee substation construction projects
- Lead field supervision, crews, and subcontractors to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality execution of work
- Enforce PAR Electric safety policies, OSHA requirements, and client-specific safety standards at all times
- Coordinate project schedules, manpower, equipment, and materials to meet project milestones and deadlines
- Serve as the primary point of contact with clients, inspectors, vendors, and internal project teams
- Monitor project costs, productivity, and budgets; identify risks and implement corrective actions as needed
- Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and work plans to ensure accurate execution
- Manage project documentation including daily reports, schedules, change orders, and closeout packages
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, environmental requirements, and contractual obligations
- Mentor and develop field supervision and craft personnel
- Support project closeout, testing coordination, punch lists, and turnover to the client
- Travel overnight to project sites as required to support construction activities
