Job Description
We are seeking a Safety Hazmat Technician to join our team in Chicago, IL. The successful candidate will be responsible for emergency response, hazardous and non-hazardous materials clean-up, site-remediation, and other duties as required. The role requires a strong understanding of OSHA and industry health standards, as well as the ability to work effectively in a high-pressure team-supported environment.
Requirements
- 40 Hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification
- Physically fit and able to lift 75 lbs.
- Ability to work in a high-pressure and fast-paced team-supported environment
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, customer service, and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to work in a confidential capacity
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, while being detail oriented
