Job Description
Radiant is seeking a Reactor Operations Engineer to design and implement procedures for their mass-produced, portable nuclear microreactor technology. The role bridges engineering and operational aspects, requiring collaboration with a multidisciplinary team and hands-on experience in a highly regulated environment. This position offers a unique opportunity to influence the development of operational software, procedures, and digital twin simulations. The role combines engineering skills with reactor operation, with a focus on ensuring efficient and safe reactor operations.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in engineering discipline.
- 2+ years of full-time professional experience in engineering problem-solving.
- Proficiency in managing or optimizing complex hardware and software processes for testing and operations.
- Ability to apply first principles thinking to solve problems.
- Proficiency in Python, UNIX
