Job Description
Razorpay is seeking a Lead Compliance Engineer (Privacy) to lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of their privacy program, ensuring full compliance across all business functions. The ideal candidate will be a subject matter expert in global and Indian data protection regulations, specifically the Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDPA) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Requirements
- Conduct privacy impact assessments and advise on data handling practices
- Lead audits to ensure adherence to DPDPA, GDPR, and other relevant privacy frameworks
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to embed a 'privacy-by-design' and 'privacy-by-default' approach throughout the organization
- Create and refine the privacy manual, policies, and processes
- Plan, execute, and report on internal and external privacy audits
- Draft and review Data Sharing Agreements with different parties
