We are READ Foundation, a non-profit organisation dedicated to providing school places for children living in poverty who otherwise cannot afford to become educated. We have been implementing educational and welfare projects in the developing world since 1994. We started with just £200, one teacher, 25 children, and a desire to change the face of poverty forever with the steadfast belief that ‘education works.’ Today, we run 382 schools that together employ 5,438 teachers and educate 103,790 children, 9,960 of which are orphans.
Job Description
READ Foundation is seeking a Donor Care Officer to join their dedicated donor support team. This role involves managing donor queries, processing donations, and ensuring donor engagement throughout their relationship with READ. The role focuses on year-round donor management, compliance, and administration, and requires adaptability to seasonal campaigns and varying workloads.
Requirements
- A-level or equivalent qualifications
- Fluency in English with excellent communication skills
- Proficiency in multiple languages (English, Urdu, and Punjabi)
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce
- Experience with CRM systems and data entry
- Strong knowledge of database operations and reporting tools
- Experience in a charity or customer service environment
