Outdoor School Garden Educator

Ready to Grow Gardens (RTGG) is seeking passionate Outdoor School Garden Educators to teach elementary students in Texas schools. Educators travel daily to different schools, providing engaging lessons in TEKS-aligned science-based garden classes. They are responsible for maintaining the school garden and communicating with the school community.

Requirements

• Good interpersonal communication skills
• Excellent classroom management skills
• Minimum of 2 years of gardening experience (food and flowers) in Texas
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus
