Job Description
Recover is seeking a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor to work in Moreno Valley, California, providing outpatient and intensive outpatient treatment for substance use and mental health conditions. The role involves providing counseling to adult patients in various settings, collaborating with the treatment team, and developing comprehensive treatment plans. This is a full-time position reporting to a Clinical Supervisor.
Requirements
- CAADC / LAADC certification valid in California
- AMF / ASW / APCC in need of supervised practice hours
- 2+ years of experience in mental health and/or substance use treatment
- Fluent in Spanish (preferred)
- Comfortable working independently
- Ability to build rapport with patients
