Job Description
This full-time position requires a Ductwork Installer to fabricate, install, and repair sheet metal ducts and duct fittings for HVAC systems. Responsibilities include reading blueprints, cutting and forming sheet metal, and ensuring proper airflow and sealing. Strong attention to detail and adherence to health and safety regulations are essential.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Apprenticeship or vocational training in sheet metal work or HVAC duct installation.
- Proficiency with sheet metal fabrication tools (e.g., shears, brakes, crimpers, welders).
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
- Knowledge of HVAC airflow principles and duct sizing.
- Physical strength and dexterity to handle and install ductwork.
- Attention to detail for proper sealing and insulation.
