Job Description
Recursion is seeking an Associate Director, CMC Drug Substance to advance and ultimately deliver clinical assets through drug substance development and manufacturing. This role involves leading external drug substance development, providing technical leadership, ensuring product quality, and collaborating with CDMOs and regulatory agencies. The company is focused on unlocking the potential of biology to revolutionize medicine.
Requirements
- Ph.D. in organic chemistry or closely related field
- 5-8 years of experience or 8-12 years of experience
- Strong knowledge in small molecule drug substance process development and manufacturing
- Experience leading external development and CDMO relationships
- Demonstration of cross-functional understanding related to drug substance development
- Working in an office environment at least 50% of the time
