Job Description
Red 6 is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to contribute to the next generation of augmented reality (AR) hardware systems. This role involves leading the design and development of precision components and assemblies for cutting-edge AR devices, including headsets and optical systems. The position requires collaboration with cross-disciplinary teams and a focus on integrating hardware with advanced technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a directly related field (Master’s preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical design for high-performance hardware systems
- Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) with SolidWorks
- Strong foundation in precision mechanical design, GD&T, and manufacturing processes
