Surgical Technologist (CST), Regions Operating Room

The Surgical Technologist (CST) role in a Level I Trauma Center in Saint Paul, MN, involves assisting the Circulator in the pre-operative preparations, handling equipment, and ensuring sterile field. This position focuses on assisting the surgical team and anticipating surgeon needs, with a focus on current & recent graduate involvement. New graduates are encouraged to apply.

Requirements

• Completion of a surgical technologist training program
• Completion of national certification exam (NBSTSA or NCCT) within 12 months of hire date (certification to be maintained)
• CPR certification required at time of employment
• Completion of a national certification exam offered by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA), or National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) within 12 months of hire date
• CPR certification every two years thereafter
