Surgical Technologist (CST), Regions Operating Room

This position is for a Surgical Technologist in a Level I Trauma Center, functioning as a member of the surgical team. Responsibilities include assisting with pre-operative preparations, instrument gathering, practicing departmental procedures, and maintaining sterile field. New grads are encouraged to apply. The role offers a mix of day and evening shifts, including weekends and potential overnight shifts.

Requirements

• Completion of a surgical technologist training program
• National certification exam (NBSTSA or NCCT) within 12 months of hire
• CPR certification required at employment and annually thereafter
• Completion of a national certification exam offered by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA), or National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) within 12 months of hire
