Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Controller to join our Finance team. The role involves overseeing daily accounting operations, strengthening internal controls, and ensuring financial reporting accuracy. The Controller will manage real estate, property management, and construction accounting activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
- 4–6 years of progressive accounting experience in real estate, property management, or construction accounting
- Strong technical knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, AppFolio, Sage, and Buildertrend
- Exceptional proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong leadership, analytical, and decision-making skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated with initiative
