Job Description
Relativity Space is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer II, Welding, to own the build of their rocket vehicles and contribute to improving manufacturing processes. The role involves welding, tooling development, and process standardization within a collaborative, high-pressure environment. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in aeronautical, mechanical engineering, or other engineering discipline with 3+ years progressive experience
- Excellent interpersonal skills to interface with engineering and manufacturing groups
- Strong engineering fundamentals in statics, mechanics of materials, process improvement, and joining
- Working knowledge of manufacturing processes, tools, inspection methods, GD&T, and AWS D17.1
- Experience with aerospace fusion welding (GTAW, robotic, laser)
